  • It's a destination cookbook. I am a huge fan of books that highlight the food of a certain region, This title, just as the author's first title, is a perfect example of food escapism via your own kitchen. 
  • Not only a cookbook but a guide to the hot spots of Los Angeles including Sqirl, Republique, and Pizzeria Mozza. For those of us who don't travel as much as we long to, this book is a balm to our wanderlust.
